What is the
average shelf life of Coconut Snowflakes?
Because of the low moisture, they have a 1 1/2 year shelf life without
any preservatives, or chemical additives.
How do I store Coconut Snowflakes?
The ideal place to store your
coconut snowflakes is in a cool and dry place such as your kitchen
pantry. Please do not store your
coconut snowflakes in the refrigerator, they will absorb moisture and
begin to melt! For best results, if possible, use a food saver to
vacuum seal your bag after use.

Coconut snowflakes can be used
just like regular shredded coconut. When a recipe calls for shredded
coconut substitute with coconut snowflakes instead, for amazing results.

Unlike other dried coconut, coconut snowflakes are low temperature
processed.Fresh
organic coconuts from the Philippines are de-shelled and quickly frozen
to 20 degrees F below zero.
Most air-dried coconut is dried at temperatures between 170 and 180
degrees F. We have found them to work wonderful in
raw food recipes and have surprised people with our secret ingredient!
